History
KK CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES was founded by two first-generation chemical engineer entrepreneurs Mr. Nitin Sethi & Mr. Sumant Agrawal in 1998. Both with exceptional chemical industry working experience set up a silicone product line based manufacturing plant at Vasai (40 km away from financial capital, Mumbai).
KK CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES remained as a manufacturing plant and diversified into trading from 2002 onwards.
With increasing operational volumes and revenue, ‘KK CHEMPRO INDIA PVT LTD’ (KKCIPL) was formed in 2008 which was an exclusive distribution-centric company.
Marketing & Technical Strengths
- The chemical background helped the business to grow vastly as technical gaps in the market were identified faster and solutions were provided.
- R&D and application lab helped provide customers with swift tailormade solutions as well as application assistance.
- KKCIPL sales office at Malad (Mumbai) & corporate office at Vasai (Thane) & fully compliant warehouse (Bhiwandi) are equipped with ERP systems to fast-track customer requirements.
- An energised and technically equipped sales staff with equivalent motivated and qualified backup operations makes the company efficient and robust.
Financial Strengths
The company has an impeccable financial record in terms of payments to its principals and banks. As of today, the company stands at zero-debt status.
We have a financial rating of “SMERA D&B-NSIC Performance & Credit Rating – SMERA SME 1″, indicating high credit-worthiness in relation to other SMEs.
Future Projects
- KKCIPL is working on an agro-based product that will be a 100% import substitute
- We are working on a US-based project related to the future of textiles/fabrics
- The company is also working on an eco-friendly recycling project

Diversification & Expansion: Joint Ventures
PolymerLink India Ltd.
KKCIPL made a joint venture with PolymerLink Malaysia in 1998 to set up a roto moulding plant in Daman (India). It’s the first niche automotive speciality rotomoulding plant in India.
The plant has a production capacity of 5000mt/annum. The company plans for further capacity expansion in the coming year to cater to export markets.
Romakk Chemicals India Pvt. Ltd.
KKCIPL’s manufacturing plant ‘KK Chemical Industries’ made a joint venture with one of the biggest textile chemicals manufacturing companies and formed ‘Romakk Chemicals India Pvt. Ltd.’ in 2021 to manufacture speciality chemical productlines. The major purpose of this joint venture was to replace Chinese dominance in textile chemistries and promote the ‘Make-in-India’ initiative. In its first year of operations, the joint venture has grown multifold.
Corporate Social Responsibility
We at KKCIPL, recognize our role and responsibility to deliver superior and sustainable value to our customers, business partners, employees and communities. We have strategically chosen the Company’s CSR initiatives with a focus on improving the quality of life. Our initiatives are focused towards the upliftment of education (especially women’s education & upliftment of Government schools), childcare and healthcare facilities, old age care facilities, water conservation and environment and disaster relief and rehabilitation.
Our CSR Policy intends to:
- Strive for economic development that positively impacts society at large with a minimal resource footprint.
- Embrace responsibility for the Company’s actions and encourage a positive impact through its activities to upliftment of education, alleviate hunger, poverty and malnutrition, old age care.

KKC has formulated this Annual Action Plan for undertaking CSR activities during the financial year 2022-23 pursuant to provisions of Section 135 read with Rule 5(2) of the Companies (Corporate Social Responsibility Policy) Rules, 2014 (as amended) and CSR Policy of the Company, which sets the target to make the contribution in areas or subjects, specified in the Company’s CSR Policy read with Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013.
